While living in Long Branch, NJ in early 1985, my friend Steve Cochran called me up on the phone and told me that a guy he did a blues gig with said he was "dizzy from the I-IV-V." After I hung up, I wrote this in about 2 minutes. I called Steve back and sang it into his machine. Later on he called me back, and played me a version of it made on his 4 track with my vocal from the answering machine. What a great moment! Thanks Steve!
