MUSIC IS FUNDAMENTAL
"One-time Polygram recording artist, Carolyne Mas, always loved music, thanks to parents who shared a diverse collection of records with her. Now as guardian of her infant nephew, she wants to give him the same exposure. 'His eyes open wide when I sing to him,' Carolyne says. She notices that he turns his head to listen to the music from car commercials on television. Music soothes him and helps him to stop crying. She lets him play real instruments. These days he plays on Carolyne's Casio keyboard. Perhaps someday he'll follow in his aunt's footsteps and become a professional musician. Perhaps not, but, in any case, he's having a ball."
